July 2012: MGJ retreat was a great
success!
Thanks to all that attended and made this a
great event. Many thanks to Joey and Sara for organizing this year,
well done. We had representatives from five states and multiple
styles making this a very interesting learning experience. The
location was gorgeous and the facilities were great.

April 2012: MGJ Lake Forest Has a New
Home
The Lake Forest group has a new home at
Villari's OC Dojo and Wellness Center. We wuold like to thank
Master Bombalier of the Villari's Shaolin Kempo System for sharing
this beautiful dojo woth us. If anyone is in the area and looking
for a great Shaolin Kempo school Master Bombalier's school is great!
Master Bombalier is also a Master of Medical Qi Gong and conducts
training and treatment. We are using

May 2011: Cane Masters Training
Program
Some of the MGJ Lake Forest members have
enrolled in the Cane Masters Training Program. Several students took
a hands on seminar from Grand Master Mark Shuey from Cane Masters at
the Disney Martial Arts Conference last summer and really enjoyed
the versatility of the cane as a weapon, both defensive and
offensive. GM Shuey and
his team were great fun to train with and we were were motivated to
continue the training and forge a relationship with Cane Masters.
MGJ LF has set a goal to get some of our folks certified as Cane
Master Instructors. Once
that is accomplished we want to get MGJ recognized as a Cane Masters

October 2010: International Combat
Martial Arts Union Association
MGJ has been registered with the
International Combat Martial Arts Union Association as an
organization. This
membership allows us to network with other martial arts
